Billing, Insurance, and Cancellations
INSURANCE
We bill the following insurance plans for clients wanting to use an insurance discount
towards the cost of counseling services.
*Please take note that some of our therapists are NOT In-Network with ALL of the plans below.
**Please call your insurance to Confirm--if the particular Therapist you want to work with,
is In-Network with YOUR specific insurance company, and insurance plan.
Trauma Therapy of the Carolinas Accepts the following Insurances:
- Aetna
- Cigna
- United Health (Through a Third-Party called Headway)
- Blue Cross and Blue Shield
- We DO NOT accept Blue Local, and we do NOT accept Blue High Performance Network
- We DO NOT file claims with, and are NOT in-network with Medicaid, Medicare, or any of their affiliate plans.

SELF-PAY|CASH PATIENT
If you choose to pay out of pocket, we can provide a "superbill" for services rendered, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. All initial appointments and assessments are $130 per session (hour), and follow up appointments are $120 per session.
CANCELLATIONS
- A 24-hour notice is required to Cancel an appointment.
- A $65 charge will be applied for all of the following:
Non 24-hour Cancellation | No Call | No Show
-A 50.00 charge will be applied to Late Cancel incidences.
