· I hold a Master of Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL.
· I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) in the State of North Carolina.
My fulfillment comes from improving the lives of others while assisting people and families in navigating life. I take enjoyment in helping people find the qualities they currently have and use those strengths as steps toward recovery utilizing a strengths-based viewpoint.
I utilize Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) to help individuals understand the connection between their thought’s feelings and actions. I take a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and transparent approach to counseling. I have 10-plus years of experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and gender identity issues through mindfulness.
I would enjoy getting to know you and developing a rapport with you. There is no better feeling than being confident and relieved of the load that memories and previous trauma bring.
These Techniques and modalities include:
· Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
· Mindfulness
I have 10+ years of experience working with older adolescents and adults experiencing:
· Anxiety

Hi and Welcome! My a name is Anna Drage.
I am a clinical social worker associated with the belief that therapy is about
rediscovering your sense of empowerment, and embracing authentic connections!
This allows clients to access internal resilience,
and reclaim their sense of belonging.
I feel strongly that the therapeutic alliance, or relationship between therapist and client,
is paramount for an effective therapeutic experience,
so please take some time to learn a bit about me--and feel free to reach out with any questions!
My Education and Training:
Treatment Focus: I understand how experiences, life stressors, and trauma can deeply impact our sense of self, relationships, and-day-to day functioning.
In order to achieve healing, I advocate for clients to engage in attachment-based exploration, build awareness of triggers, and befriend the physical sensations or emotions that overload our nervous system--through mindfulness, so that we can learn more about ourselves and our needs.
As a personal center therapist,
I will use a variety of tools and modalities that align with your unique needs:
I have experience in both the public school system and outpatient therapy working with children (6+), adolescences, and adults who have experienced traumatic events as well as range of mental health needs:
On a personal note:
The people in my life will describe me as direct, honest, and empathetic.
I love spending time outside on the beach reading or collecting shells.
I am a yoga nerd and try to go as often as I can.
If I am not at the beach or doing yoga you can probably find me curled up on my couch,
with my dog Marla listening to my favorite Fleetwood Mac records.
