Hello! My name is Brooke Michelsen.
I am available on-site Monday-Tuesday and virtual Wednesday-Friday.
Starting therapy or returning to therapy can feel difficult or uncomfortable. My aim is to foster an environment of safety, openness, and authenticity to allow for greater progress towards a fulfilling, happy life. I offer individuals the tools to empower them to achieve goals and make meaningful decisions in their lives. You are the expert in your own life and I’m here as a support through your journey. I view therapy as a place to be curious and explore new ideas, exercises, or coping strategies in a nonjudgmental environment. I utilize a variety of clinical approaches to address individual’s needs.

I have five years of experience working with those who have experienced various trauma in their lives. I enjoy working with adults and older adolescences (16+). My areas of expertise include working with individuals who have experienced:
I currently live in the mountains of North Carolina. I enjoy spending time outside hiking, searching for waterfalls, and gardening. I love healthy cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Hi! My name is Angela Veltri.
I am available on-site:
Wednesdays through Friday,
and offer virtual services on Monday and Tuesday.
· I hold a Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in counseling from Waynesburg University
· I hold a Master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Waynesburg University
· I have my provisional license in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (LCMHCA)
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming for anyone.
It is important for me to make you feel comfortable and safe from the first session.
Therapy is a space free of judgement where you can express what is causing you difficulty.
I want to support your in your journey in healing from difficult experiences,
and empower your autonomy as an individual.
In addition, I want to provide tools and information that help you gain understanding about yourself.
Therapy can help a person to find positive meaning about themselves, and those around us.
As a therapist, I use an eclectic approach in treatment.

I have two years of therapy experience and have worked with people who have experienced trauma at various stages of life. I enjoy working with people of all ages, including children (eight
and up).

Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy reading, running, and hiking in the woods and mountains.
